Frequently asked questions

When does the half-day rate apply?
Only Monday to Friday, and only from 08:00 to 13:00 or from 13:00 to 18:00. Any deviation, even by fifteen minutes, means the daily rate applies. Half days are not available at weekends.
When does the weekend rate apply?
From Friday 17:00 to Monday 08:00, exactly. Collect fifteen minutes later and we charge per day. If you are close to the weekend window, our website points that out while you book.
Can a shorter rental cost more than a longer one?
No. If six days would cost more than a week, we automatically charge the weekly rate. You never pay more than you need to.
What is the excess and can I reduce it?
The excess is the amount you pay yourself in the event of damage. For a surcharge per day we reduce both your excess and your deposit. The exact amounts differ per vehicle and are shown on each vehicle page.
How many kilometres are included?
For most vehicles 100 kilometres per day, and 50 for a half day. Beyond that we charge a per-kilometre rate that differs per vehicle. A weekend counts as three days and a midweek as five.
