Prices and terms: exactly what you pay

With car rental the catch is usually in the small print. That is why everything is here together: what is in the rate, what comes separately and what we ask of you.

What is in the rate

  • 100 free kilometres per day, on 20 of our vehicles
  • 200 free kilometres per day, on one vehicle
  • Window, tyre and passenger insurance
  • Roadside assistance
  • VAT — every amount on this site includes it
  • A second driver, at no extra charge

What comes separately

The deposit, which is also your excess

With us that is one amount and not two. You pay it in advance, it is exempt from VAT and it is not part of the rental sum. If nothing happens you get it back in full after you return the vehicle; if something does, it is also the most you pay yourself.

Deposit and excess by vehicle group
Vehicles Deposit and excess
One vehicle: Aanhanger € 100.00
17 vehicles, among them Citroen C1 met RECLAME, Citroen C1 € 500.00
4 vehicles, among them Toyota Proace personenbus, Toyota Proace 9 pers. incl. 500km € 1,000.00

Both can be brought down to € 300.00. For a surcharge per day we lower the deposit as well as the excess; that surcharge differs per vehicle and runs from € 4.00 to € 15.00 per day. So you tie up less money and you carry less risk if something happens. You choose this while booking, in the step after the vehicle; it cannot be arranged afterwards.

Extra kilometres

Drive more than the included allowance and you settle the difference at the rate of your vehicle. That runs from € 0.15 to € 0.24 per kilometre and is listed with every vehicle.

Fuel

You get the vehicle with an agreed fuel level and return it with the same amount. Would you rather not refuel yourself? Add our refuelling service while booking. It costs € 9.50 for the work; the fuel itself is charged afterwards and settled against the deposit.

What we ask of you

  • Minimum age 20
  • A valid Dutch driving licence and a passport or identity card — without that double identification we cannot hand over a vehicle
  • Payment in advance by iDEAL or Wero, or on collection by debit card, credit card or cash

Frequently asked questions

When does the half-day rate apply?
Only Monday to Friday, and only from 08:00 to 13:00 or from 13:00 to 18:00. Any deviation, even by fifteen minutes, means the daily rate applies. Half days are not available at weekends.
When does the weekend rate apply?
From Friday 17:00 to Monday 08:00, exactly. Collect fifteen minutes later and we charge per day. If you are close to the weekend window, our website points that out while you book.
Can a shorter rental cost more than a longer one?
No. If six days would cost more than a week, we automatically charge the weekly rate. You never pay more than you need to.
What is the excess and can I reduce it?
The excess is the amount you pay yourself in the event of damage. For a surcharge per day we reduce both your excess and your deposit. The exact amounts differ per vehicle and are shown on each vehicle page.
How many kilometres are included?
For most vehicles 100 kilometres per day, and 50 for a half day. Beyond that we charge a per-kilometre rate that differs per vehicle. A weekend counts as three days and a midweek as five.
